I find it helpful to have a point of reference on skintype when reading reviews on makeup blogs, so here you go!
- I am around a NC20 in MAC. I currently wear Lancome Teint Idole Ultra in 140 Ivoire N, which is a (very) near perfect match to my actual skin color. For other products such as concealer, brightener, etc., I tend to get the second lightest color (I fall quite nicely into the "fair-medium" category).
- Most of my skin is quite oily and I have noticeable pores in my T-zone, mostly around my nose. Sometimes, however, I am prone to dry spots, especially around my eyes and lips. In a nutshell, I have combination skin that veers towards the oily side.
- My skin is not particularly acne-prone anymore, thanks to my current skincare regimen. I am, however, very sensitive to certain products (various sunscreen ingredients, some silicones, highly comedogenic oils, and salicylic acid).
